Curaçao Tourism Off to a Strong Start in 2026

Willemstad, March 2026 - The Curaçao Tourist Board reports a strong increase in stayover arrivals for January 2026. The island welcomed 79,387 stayover visitors, an 8% increase (+6,098 visitors) compared to January 2025. The average length of stay also rose by 4% to 9.4 nights.
Growth was driven by South America (+15%), North America (+8%), and Europe (+6%), while the Caribbean region recorded a 6% decline. Europe remained the largest source region with 28,922 visitors, followed by North America (25,651) and South America (21,053).

The Netherlands: 24,443 visitors (+6%), with an average stay of 13.7 nights.
United States: 18,069 visitors (+2%), averaging 6.4 nights.
Canada: 7,582 visitors (+26%), with an average stay of 11 nights.
