Willemstad – The 20th edition of Ride, Walk, Run & Swim for the Roses promises to be another inspiring day, bringing together sportsmanship and solidarity for a special cause: supporting cancer patients and their families in Curaçao. This annual event, which takes place on Sunday, January 25, 2026, remains a powerful symbol of community, hope, and togetherness on the island.

As in previous years, the program offers a wide range of activities for participants of all ages and levels. Starting at 7:00 a.m., the Walk and Run will begin at Brionplein in Otrobanda, with various distances ending at Mambo Boulevard. For cyclists, there is the Ride with routes of 10, 40, and 60 kilometers, while swimming enthusiasts can participate in the 2.7-kilometer open water swim from Jan Thiel to Wet & Wild. There is also a special 500-meter swimming competition for children, so that young and old alike can participate in the sporting day.

In addition to sporting achievements, the event is primarily dedicated to charity. All proceeds go to initiatives that support cancer patients and their loved ones, including the Princess Wilhelmina Fund through the Ride for the Roses Foundation, an organization dedicated to care, support, and awareness around cancer in Curaçao.

Ride, Walk, Run & Swim for the Roses brings together hundreds of participants and spectators every year and underscores the power of collective commitment and positivity. For many people, it is not only a sporting challenge, but also a way to show their support and connect with the community.
